Memorable Day

Over the Memorial Day weekend, I had the honor of being a part of a wedding that was probably the most stylish wedding I've ever been to. The bride and groom were married in their home and were surrounded by 90 of their friends and family. It was a blazing hot day but everyone was a good sports  and endured the heat during the ceremony which took place in the front garden.

The bride wore a gown from BHLDN that was just perfect for her. The wedding had a white and yellow theme with pops of green, and everything had a very contemporary feel with some Southern flair mixed in - mason jars, iced tea, lemonade, mac n cheese bites, shrimp and grits, sliders and a rockin soundtrack provided by Brazil Billy.

It was a beautiful wedding, the bride and groom looked happy by the end of it and it was just SO perfectly them.

Those pomanders were so much fun to make! The cake? DELICIOUS.

That white wreath in the background was the brainchild of the florist. It was about 5' in diameter and gorgeous.

The bride had a local printer create the tree for her thumbprint guest book.
