Humidity's down.  It's cold outside and I am in the mood to bake.  WHAT I'm going to bake, I still haven't quite decided but I know macarons are going to make an appearance at least three times a lot till it's warm again. What I think I'll need, though, is powdered food coloring and if anyone knows where I can easily procure some, that'd be fantastic.

Also, I've added this to my wishlist:

I first need to master I <3 Macarons before moving on to other recipes.  I need to get the size and colors right. Color especially!! I've gotten the flavor seal of approval from Lesley but how they look? Let's just say I set the bar high for myself. Is that a problem?

So here we go... more burned confections and almond flour all over the place. It's going to be fun.
